Nice preserve with many level trails, some wide, some narrow. Lots of birds and a small pond. Not very crowded. No restrooms.

I love this little spot. Initially, I was disappointed that there wasn't more Trail mileage (I'm a long distance runner and am always on the prowl for a new running spot). However, I was won over by the amazing variety of flora -- so many beautiful, native plants! It's such a peaceful place. My dog and I love coming here for a short, relaxed stroll.

Great place for a walk with your dog or a jog. Beautiful scenery for pictures or just to admire on your walk. There are also ducks at the little pond there. They love bird seeds! Fyi your shoes will get dusty here.

With plenty of rest spots to sit and take in the sights and the sounds, this small preserve is a short and fun hike (1.5 miles or so). Great for kids with plenty of wild stuff to look at. Is it very well kept, and virtually trash free, although some of the smaller ponds in the area are stagnant and look like runoff has been deposited there, there was little decomposition smell and as long as one stays on the trail pose little risk to hikers. There's a larger pond in the central area of the north part of this elongated preserve, and there are ducks, turtles, and fish to be observed. That's in addition to plenty of lizards, rabbits, birds and butterflies one sees on the trail. There are also old farm pieces of equipment worth investigating, but take care with children as the metal gets hot in clear days. Some friendly hikers like to leave colorfully painted stones/rocks along the way for others to find and enjoy, but please take nothing but memories, and leave only footprints.

You are not suppose to but there usually is no one there to stop you
There is parking and the entrance is off north bound south mission rd. The entrance is small and easy to miss.
There is usually a decent amount of people and other dogs. It's not a good place for off-leash or an unsocialized dog. Everyone is very friendly!
Just a walking trail since it is a small preserve.
In a parking lot on south end
