Don Patron Mexican Grill

The place is inviting and decorated nicely. Unfortunately the food was a little lacking. It came out just above room temperature ten minutes after ordering. Super fast but I would expect hot for that speed assuming they are using microwaves or a hot well and almost no one else was in the restaurant. I got the enchilada sampler. It all tasted good except the chicken which was half a breast stuffed in a shell not shredded. Because of that it needed lots more sauce. We ate quickly not to complain but had a problem flagging down someone to close out. They seemed to not want to make eye contact. Also I find it completely unprofessional for any employee to be walking around with ear buds on especially when trying to get someone's attention

Large portions, great prices. Food is pretty good. Nice atmosphere.

Small restaurant at the end of a strip mall. It has a nice outdoor seating area. The bar is in the front area and then dining in the back. The decor is well done. Service was friendly and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Everything was good. The people who had beans said they were different but really good. It was a good place to go off the highway.

We have been to Don Patron Mexican Grill many times, and we really don't live close by. When we want Mexican food, this is where we go. Food is always great and so is the service. We have three Mexican restaurants within two miles of home, but we choose to go to Don Patron. Today was the best - Pina Loca.
