Neat experience and a lot of history with this intricate clock. Definitely a must see if you are in the area. Enjoy a walk around the village too.

During my visit it was raining- thought I would not get to see the clock. Waiting in the rain for it to strike the hour was so much fun. It was amusing to see the worlds largest cuckoo clock in action

Exactly as you would want it to be. Well maintained, beautiful! We regularly visit "worlds largest" objects and this clock did not dissapoint!

Definitely worth the ride. Beautiful country around here. We will have to come back when it's open. Sure was nice that someone saved it when the restaurant closed. I remember when it was the rooftop attraction.

Someone on here said it opens in the spring, guess that makes sense. Especially with the winter in Ohio.
In Sugarcreek
Donna we stayed in a house that was rented out by an Amish woman. It was one of the best places I've ever stayed. The entire area is very cute and alot to see ... We visited in September from Tennessee
Built in 1972. It used to be at Alpine Alpa in Wilmont, Ohio. It was on the roof there. They went out of busi ess and building was sold, it is a church now. Clock was bought and donated to Sugarcreek, the little Switcherland of Ohio.
Nope. Well, there's Bags sports bar nearby And that's not bad. Dutch valley is the feedlot for the tourist livestock.
