ROACHES!!! I usually do not do negative reviews, because each person can have a different experience, but I would have wanted to know before I moved in. I lived in this community for a few days before putting in my 30 day notice (using the 45 day move out guarantee). I initially planned to give a good review, but then the roaches came. I had to throw half of my furniture out. No one ever came out to spray although I entered a maintenance request. Then on my last day moving my stuff out, by some stroke of luck, a few kids were playing outside and one of them opened the door to a vacant apartment across from mine. As I went to shut the door (that shouldn’t have been unlocked anyway), I saw the biggest sea of roaches that I had ever seen. Dead roaches all across the floor, everywhere!!! There is no way that this apartment should have been allowed to get this bad if there were quarterly pest checkups. Very disappointed because I assumed that a Cortland apartment would hold to higher standards. Now I’ve wasted money on move in fees to stay at a place for only a month AND I have to purchase new furniture.

Incredibly unorganized and unprofessional. If you plan on moving here be prepared for your unit to not be ready for move in, them to have no clue what is going on, and for them to not have your orientation at the time that was scheduled.

Great place, we have lived here a little over a year. Maint is very quick to respond to needs and requests. Office staff is great. When our dog passed away, they sent flowers and a note. Thank you!

Absolutely love living here! Ariana and Carolyn in the office are wonderful and maintenance is fantastic! They truly care about their residents and treat you like family. I recommended Brooksedge to everyone!
