I've always been a pretty big fan of Panera Bread but of course lately, just like many other restaurants, things have gone downhill. My daughter gets to Caesar salad and suddenly she's been getting salad with Leafs instead of the regular Caesar salad, and they don't even tell us about it until we get it. I got the tomato soup and grilled cheese, they told me they didn't have American cheese so I got the cheddar and they charged me for the cheddar even though they didn't have the original cheese!? the service is a little shaky, the prices are absolutely outrageous of course, but that's like any other place now. The atmosphere is not too bad, I sit down and work on my computer but when you have to literally pay a fortune for a breakfast sandwich it's just not even worth eating. I'd rather just go in there with my own food and sit down, but of course I can't do that...

My mac and cheese was cold, and when I told the girl at the counter she pointed me to a microwave. Why did I have to microwave my own food? It should have been hot already. She told me to microwave it in front of a group of other customers too, so apparently having to heat your own food is something that Panera isn't ashamed of. It must be commonplace to have to microwave your own food there. Not sure why my meal costed $12.99 if it wasn't even going to be heated for me.

Waited 20 minutes for a very disappointing Mac and grilled cheese. My pictures show what they gave me compared what it is advertised as. When I brought it back to the manager he said “what’s wrong with it”. They didn’t even put the croutons on it. To top it off their latte’s are always lukewarm

I am from Georgia. I was surprised to see the people here prepare your food with long hair and no hairnet. Some people did not even wear gloves when preparing the food or wash their hands when they appeared from the back to prepare food. I love Panera but not here.
