I was never allowed to stay here because its only for people that can afford million dollar RV's I guess. I have never heard of this before. They will only allow 2006 or new RV's but yet the Manager has an older RV. I think this has a lot to do with discrimination. Its only a matter a time before they get sued. Good luck with your discrimination park.

They take camper van conversions (as one reviewer who had one said they stayed here) yet they refuse a specialized custom RV made from a bus shell for a handicapped person who requires a ramp for their wheeled mobility aids: something very wrong with that picture. I had decided to inquire about renting here because of all the nice reviews but they were a HUGE disappointment. They DO NOT rent to disabled people like many RV parks I’ve come across trying to find a place to rent. They REFUSE to make reasonable ADA accommodations which would include accepting a non conventional RV made from a bus shell thats wheelchair/walker accessible via a ramp. It was the only way I could have an RV with a ramp yet they simply don’t care: THEY SIMPLY DO NOT WANT DISABLED PEOPLE THERE. The first several points of contact were with a nice lady Darlene who did understand why I had the type of RV I had and was seemingly willing to rent out once she had openings but the last contact was with her husband who although decent enough, simply refused to rent to me giving the excuse that they don’t take full timers yet they have them and they don’t like custom made non conventional RVs despite the fact that I didn’t choose to become disabled in need of wheeled mobility aids therefore not choosing the type of RV I have. Essentially this RV park and so many others blatantly violate ADA no discrimination laws and seemingly get away with it. I disclosed up front from the start that I was disabled and require the use of a special made RV since I need a ramp and no steps. No wonder so many disabled people who require custom RVs made from other vehicle bodies to make them handicap accessible are stuck out on the streets: RV parks like this refusing to rent to them. I wanted to like this place but the fact is, the guy that was at the desk that day is a discriminatory jackass despite appearing decent. All these other excuses he put are simply to avoid renting to the disabled but since he can’t legally say it outright he has to give these other reasons to hide it and be sneaky. He’s certainly doing a very bad job since there are full timers there and Darlene was willing to rent me full time when she got an opening and they allow camping van conversions. Using the vehicle as an excuse is like telling someone with a wheelchair you won’t rent to them as long as they’re in a wheelchair but you will rent to them when they stop using their wheelchair. Accepting a non conventional RV is not an unreasonable ADA accommodation especially if the handicapped person can’t use anything else.DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOUR DISABLED OR EVEN BOTHER TO ASK, THEY WILL NOT RENT TO YOU. Not enough of places like this get reported for their violations and that’s simply sad because more people that complain and report them for ADA non discrimination violations and refusing to make reasonable accommodations the more likely they’d get forced to change or face consequences. Not sure if the husband was the owner or not but he’s complicit in every way with the discrimination. Otherwise the actual owners are the ones to blame if he’s staff and only doing what they tell him to. Point being places like this the staff/owners are two-faced: act nice and present as decent when they really aren’t. They’re liars making excuses and reasons that are obviously not true just to not rent to someone because of their disability and the need for using a certain type of specialized RV. Since I disclosed that I’m disabled using a custom non conventional RV for that reason it’s obvious the real only reason is they don’t want disabled people there. Plain and simple. I really liked Darlene, she was the only one willing to make it work, but unfortunately is not the one running the place making the decisions.

What an adorable RV park. They offer full hook ups, cable, plenty of space, water front access at their community center, boat dock, showers, laundry, and even have karaoke on certain nights! There office offers little stuff if you forget it like laundry soap, coax cables, RV sewage pipes and much more. The hosts are always so sweet and will help you figure things out if you’re new to the RV world like we are. I wish they had room to keep up for several weeks because we love it here. The train does run at night and it’s loud in the space we’re in but it’s no big deal to us we’re happy campers pun intended!

Love it here. Always clean and such a beautiful place to experience Oregon. Great prices and amazing staff who help you and help maintain the campground. River is so nice to see when you leave your camper in the mornings. 10/10
