We had the Wagyu steak and the lobster risotto. It was a religious experience. The staff was very attentive and we were able to get a parking spot right out front. I hope to find my way back there with friends in the near future for another fantastic meal.

My husband and I visited here for our 2nd anniversary. We had a great experience! Our table had water when we arrived, which was a really nice touch. Our server was nice and attentive, without being too much. The food was delicious and the vibe of the restaurant is just unlike anywhere else.

This is one of my favorite spots in Portsmouth. It still has all the original architecture from when it was the Wentworth hotel. Food is great and the have a full bar with lots of specialty cocktails. They have a rotating dessert so you'll always have new choices each visit. Definitely worth checking out even if just to get a drink and see the history of the place.

Spectacular ambiance! Beautiful wood moldings and bookshelves. Decorative fans and lights along with paneled ceilings make a stunning view. Our waiter was energetic, friendly, and professional. He took excellent care to ensure our meals were prepared as ordered. We started with wagyu carpaccio which I felt was cut too thick. Definitely not the thin slices you'd expect, or get in traditional carpaccio. Our ceaser was good, nice cheese slices and croutons. The oysters, 12, were not shucked properly. All were still attached to the tendon and most were scraped too much. Our filets were delicious, although I'd recommend the smaller cut if you want it evenly cooked. Just get 2 if you want more, they have many topping and sauce options. Wonderful side dishes, loved the corn and gratin potatoes. Dessert was amazing, had a strawberry cake slice and a chocolate layered mousse. They didn't have a selection of dessert wine sadly.

Mask unless eating, socially distanced tables.
You need to call the restaurant to find that out. I don't work there.
It is not a wood-burning fireplace, but glows warm with heat during these chilly winter months. 😊
Waitress and service was excellent, thr food two steaks were not even close to being cooked as we ordered them.Left after our drinks and tipped the waitress for HER good service.
There is no dress code! Current clothes styles are present the entire year. My first visit many, many years ago, i saw mostly business attire.
