Liked the property and the house..We've joined many historic groups with tours and most we're much more relaxing than this tour guide we had. She kept saying her comments were going to belong winded and they were...much too long winded. She needs to rewrite her script and shorten the unimportant details and be kinder to the public and not keep reminding them of the short time she has while her long winded statement we're many unnecessary. But all in all...love the estate.

Without question, this is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. It reminds me of the English countryside. It’s just magical! I could spend hours there every day, just enjoying the grounds and walking in the woods. As a wedding photographer, I would LOVE to photograph a wedding here some day!

This is such a wonderful and historic place to go for a walk, either short or long. There is a network of very wide and well maintained trails in a series of loops that can extend into a lengthy hike. The topography rolls along a bit through the mature oak-pine cover type with nothing very steep or difficult but it's beautiful, clean and refreshing. The best thing is that it's easy to find and get to from the southern Maine and New Hampshire seacoast region. The views of the Salmon Falls River are also great to take in. Definitely a "must see".
