Lived in Oregon 25 years and just stumbled on this precious gem of a hike. Love the elevated pathways, and the canopy of the trees. This would be a great hike in the heat of the summer as most is in the shade. It’s a little steep at times for those with limited mobility but very doable if you are fairly active. If you live in Lane or Linn county, this is a must! Free Parking and bathroom at lower parking lot (where Google maps takes you)

This was a great family day hiking this trail and exploring these beautiful waterfalls. Also appreciate that it is dog friendly.

Easy access to the creek and 3 spectacular waterfall views. There is a lower, mid, and upper lot - each with a small picnic area and kid friendly trail access to one of the nearby falls. All of the trails link up so I'd suggest parking at the lower lot and hiking up towards Majestic Falls so your return hike will be entirely downhill. This seems like a great spot to picnic and cool off in the summer when the water is not charged from spring rains and calms down a bit. Beautiful wildflowers and native wildlife all along the trail as well. The drive out this way from Eugene is peaceful and serene.

Just coming into season, the trails are still a bit muddy & wet. Be weary of slippery rocks and roots. When coming down the stairs some of the steps are loose/wobbly. Not recommended for people with breathing issues or severe physical handicapps, but if you can manage the trails safely, more power to you. There are multiple parking lots, to travel the full circuit of trails i recommend parking in the Southern lot.

It’s a strong maybe
About a mile and a half. I recommend going from lower falls to upper and then back. That way you are covering the steep part first, and then have a pleasant downhill walk back.
Not sure mine does places that I drive by sometimes
Yes, I'm sure you could. But there are no large covered areas or gazebos, no electricity. But it would be beautiful for something small.

It would be difficult. Especially in the wet months. Possible but difficult
The park is normally well maintained and user friendly year round. The only issue I have seen in the past would be slick or icy bridges if it were to freeze.
There are a couple of waist deep or so spots where you can get wet, but not really swim...
