Amazing lake with tons of fish for the kids! Tons of parking, pass required, (10$) tons of dock space for fishing and tons of lake for light boating! Playgrounds and campsites too! The playground is great with covered seating and bbq pits. Minutes from town. Rental on site for canoe and snacks/ice for purchase. Great for the whole family! Oh yea they also have a designated swimming area for all ages!!

There are two hiking trails around the lake. We took the "upper". It was very pretty, and most people would not have any problems with it. There were a lot of people swimming, SUPing, and hanging out at the "beach" area. It costs 10 bucks for parking.

Accessibility can be a challenge, but this place is a real gem. Being from Southern Oregon originally, this place has a real mini Crater Lake vibe. From what I understand, it was created the same way and is also a caldera. Pretty cool. There are several trails that I have yet to explore, but the views are really beautiful. It's a wonderful place to explore if you're in shape. The path that goes down to the lake is pretty steep (but there is a handicap-accessible area to park right by the lake), so be prepared for a bit of a hike to get to the lake. There are trails all around the lake, but the ground can be steep and uneven. There's also the added challenge of muddy trails after rain, which we dealt with today. Overall, it's a great place to fish, canoe, and swim with kiddos. Worth checking out.

Battleground lake is beautiful. Amazing fishing all year round. Courteous and Kind people (most the time). Trails are long, patted down and somewhat rugged.

I have a lifetime disabled veteran Washington state park pass.
I believe so-you can always ask a ranger when you arrive.
No kitchen amenities, no kitchens, sleeping quarters only. There are grills outside.
Closed but not locked, you can come and go.
They have group sites that might accommodate such a large tent. I would call first to confirm.
It depends on the season and what spot/kind of spot you want. The cabins are always a little more. You have to go to the website to find prices and reserve a spot.
Last week I heard someone say that it wasn't accessible yet.
They are open all year long, however they are usually booked up several months out so you have to book early. I don't believe they were over 100$. https://washington.goingtocamp.com/Mobile/ You can look up prices amd availablity there.
