I had the incredible opportunity to play the world renowned Sand Hills Golf Club late this summer, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The lush green fairways amongst the tall flowing native grass has a subtle and natural beauty that you rarely see on a golf course, especially in the midwest. The minimalistic nature of the course built into the natural rolling hills and expansive sand blow outs provides an incredibly peaceful sensory experience and an equally challenging, albeit rewarding golf experience. If you ever have the opportunity to play here, do what ever you have to do to make it work because it is truly a life enhancing experience!

Awesome golf course. Some of the best links golf in the US. Great location. The course can change as the wind changes direction. All you can see for miles is wide open prairie. Lots of stars at night.

One of the best courses in the States. I've played it a few times and loved it every time, even at dark on a summer night!! Anyone who does not like this place/golf course is either not a golfer or prefers big city amenities. True golf.

I joined way back in 1995. The membership is full and has been for 25 years There is no waiting list. The only way to become a member is if you know one of the original investors and that person recommends you to become a member when an opening becomes available. You can see why I feel very fortunate to be a member of the greatest golf course and club in the US.
