Been shopping here at winco with no problem for my business and tonight at 10:11 pm a employee who was working at self check named “Luce” was very rude. First of all she kept coming to me behind my back staring at me while I scanned my items to the point it made me feel very uncomfortable. Not cool! As I was leaving she stood in front of my cart and asked for my receipt which I never have a problem with but the way she came at me accusing me by saying she seen on her system that I didn’t scan two 5lb ground beef. It’s funny because of course I did scan it. She was also loud and people definitely heard us. I responded to her that I don’t steal and I’ve made my purchase. She still asked for it anyway so I asked her why didn’t she check everyone’s receipt including people who had way more stuff than me out the bag walking out and she again said she didn’t see it in when she “VERIFIED” it in her system. Sounds like she very sure! So I showed her my receipt and she laughed and said ok. I was very offended at this point and she was very unprofessional. My sister who just finished checking out had way more stuff then me that wasn’t even bagged and as we were walking out I asked her if she want her receipt too? She laughed sarcastically and said nope. I feel very disrespected, embarrassed and I definitely feel very discriminated against.

I've been shopping at this location for more than 10 years. It's a bargain for the limited items I purchase and it has always been worth it. Employees used to be warm & friendly now they seem tired, worn, irritable, and in many cases, rude to customers. I recall something my mom told us growing up, "Be kind to people because you never know who's in charge of you getting your next job." I hope they'll start to realize how much we, the customer, rely on their store to serve our families & community. We're all in these tough times together.
