It's basic, but gets the job done. There's parking in the shade, a trash can, grass ball field, Community Gardens are really cool, a little picnic bench, it's a nice little getaway in the city. Be advised, I don't recall seeing any bathrooms.

Great community resource to be able to use indoor open space for. It's an old-school wood-floored auditorium with markings on the court. However, I heard that prices are going up again soon. It's also the other side of town for me. It's the group I attend that makes the space ideal.

The Fulton Park Community Center is an older building with a large interior space and wood floors. It's in a delightful grassy park and well sheltered from the noise of the city in spite of the fact that it is wedged between Barbour Blvd and I-5. Highly recommended as a meeting place for events not requiring furniture. My first experience with the building was a yoga retreat and it was perfect for that. Regular contra dances are why most people come here. The parking area is more than adequate for most events and parking can spill onto city streets for a big turnout.

I come here for the Saturday contra dance. This building may well be the best regular dance hall in the PNW. There are plenty of restrooms, lots of parking, and some nifty architectural features from a bygone era.
