Update as of April 2022: it's still unreasonably difficult to get from the store to the bathroom. This is especially a problem if you have a stroller or little kids. Previous review: The store always has the access to their bathrooms barricaded off with rows of carts that block the access for their members who are actually shopping in the warehouse. I usually have two young children with me and sometimes need quick access to avoid an accident and you either have to fight your way through a busy checkout or drag a bunch of carts out of the way to walk through. I can't believe that this is not some kind of health or safety violation. It is rude and disrespectful to their members and is not something I've noticed at other Costco locations. Usually they have less selection here than other Costco locations. Oh and they never have enough checkout lanes open and there are usually big lines at checkout.

I always admire Costco's employees. They are very friendly and efficient workers. I went to the Lakewood store on Saturday, 2/26/22 and forgot to show the credit coupon at a cashier. So, I went to the customer support (returning area) and spoke to Tinise. She said that nothing she could do for it at her dept. though; she politely advised me to go to the same cashier whose name was Kimberly. So, I went back to her though she was busy assisting other people and I waited for the right time. As soon as she finished a customer, I asked her about it, then she nicely responded and solved my problem right away. I was impressed. They were very practical and efficient, and very friendly. That is the COSTCO! I really appreciated their exceptional support.

There are 2 other Costco’s within 5 miles and I think this one is the best. They tend to have items that the norwalk and signal hill locations don’t carry. Which is probably why I think it’s more crowded then others. They have added self checkout and their cashiers are always fast. Although if you are not a fan of tight spaces their aisles and pathways seem narrower then their other locations. Things to improve: Add electric car charging stations. Add wifi. Add more organic items.
