Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Great location - we loved being close to the trolley. Rooms were updated and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

I really enjoy my stay. To start, front desk were absolutely delightful and helpful. Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfy, breakfast was delicious and weirdly; I didn’t hear anything from room next door when you usually do in hotel rooms. Location is great, you can go walking distance to a few places and the trolley station is also close. Definitely will stay here again

Great hotel! Clean with very friendly staff. A lot of restaurants nearby. The front desk lady was really helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The only downside was when I first got there in the morning the front door would not open (need a keycard), so I had to walk around into the parking deck and enter the elevator up.

After a poor experience with the front office management Ben, I will no longer continue to support this hotel personally or within my business. Over the past year I have spent over 70 nights personally at this particular Hampton property. I have referred over a couple hundred guests to stay here as well throughout the various events we host at our store. As I am in the customer service, tourism and hospitality business as well, I cherish and value repeat customers and guests wholeheartedly. Ben, the night manager on duty yesterday evening April 26th, did not exemplify these qualities at all. Not only did he not honor my group rate which I used all of 2021 and beginning of 2022, I was charged more than what the website showed nor was I given my upgrade that I was always given as a Hilton diamond member. The hotel was not at full occupancy and there were rooms available. Rather than honoring my rate of $99 for weekdays $119 for weekends and $139 for peak I was charged $179 because they refused to honor my group rate. The difference of $40 is absolutely minimal and due to inability to properly appreciate repeat patronage I will no longer book at this property nor refer my couple hundred guests a year to this property. There are several other private, boutique, and corporate hotels throughout Tampa in close proximity that would value and appreciate repeat business. Hampton inn of Ybor is certainly not one of them (or at least Ben is not.)

Yes. It goes out every half hour starting at 9:30am. It can accommodate up to 10 passengers per trip.
Yes, $10 per car, only one allowed per room to park in a very small parking garage, and it's still $10 even if you have to park down the street in the overflow lot
Depends on which beach... I wouldn't personally consider it close to any of the nicer beaches. You'd need a car for that. I guess you could take a bus, but that would take a good hour.
I work here at this Hampton Inn. Our shuttle only goes within a 3-mile radius. However an Uber ride is very quick and very cheap.
