Lectured me for over 20 minutes about how disabled people should not except to be accommodated despite the fact that that is literally what the company is for. Also made it clear that they are anti-maskers despite the fact that they are dealing with people who are at risk.

Don't use them if the recommend you going through a+transportation.... A+ lied to them about why they abandoned me 30 miles from my home and they had the audacity to call me and try telling me my behavior is why I'm being booted from their program to get me to medical appointments without even trying to ask what happened. so I was trying to explain to the guy that if he actually knew what happened he wouldn't be accusing me of anything and he kept interrupting me and copped an attitude with me telling me there isn't anything I can do about it. So I told him the give me your supervisor and he said it ok then hung up on me.....

Many years ago when I moved back to the Yakima Valley, People for People helped me transition from not having been employed for several years to being independent, self confident and self supporting. I was placed as a temporary office assistant at Allied Arts in Yakima. (Allied Arts has closed and the building condemned and demolished.) After the temporary internship was completed, I was hired full time. I was fortunate to be able to learn many new things which became things I enjoyed and which I still enjoy. In 1990 I was asked to give presentations to others in the People for People program to be educated and placed in internships. These people were in similar circumstances as I had been in. In 1994, I moved on and went to work at the Capitol Theatre and was able to build on the foundation that I attained from my experience at Allied Arts. I retired from there a few years ago. More recently I have utilized the services of the 211 line and received the information on very important programs. Today I talked to a very nice lady who took my call and gave me the information I needed. We need to thank people who are there to help us during this most difficult time in our world, our country, our community and our lives. People For People still exists to ĺhelp us and make our lives better. Thank each of you for making our lives easier!

People for People is an awesome non-profit. I only give them 4 stars due to one front desk associate who was a bit short in her directions to us. She probably just needs a bit more training in customer service.

Hello Susan, I heard you were able to get through and got your appointments scheduled. To verify, the phone number of our non-emergency medical transportation call center is (509)248-6793 and their hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Have a good day.
Hi Karen, we offer several different types of services so I recommend you call our 2-1-1 Information and Referral staff and they can best assist you (just dial 2-1-1). Thank you.
Hi, our Yakima office is open today until 3:00 PM. Feel free to visit our website for more details. http://www.pfp.org
People for People does not provide transportation out of the Goldendale office
No. It is not a public transit. It is medical ride provider.
