I wanted to just do a to-go order and used the website offered. It seemed really high prices but I figured the things I was ordering must be large containers (at $18 each). Went and picked up and found that it was three single servings instead of three large containers to feed my family of 7. And it was nearly $60. Total rip off. My guess is that if you call and order or come in person to order you pay less?? Because who on earth would pay that much for crummy Chinese food in tiny servings? I felt super ripped off. Don’t use their website TapThru to order.

It may not seem like this is the best Chinese food in the area, it is. Every time I have eaten here the food tastes freshly made and hot. There is no drop off in quality due to the very low prices. Thank you for making food, thank you for doing it right.

Rice House Serves Burnt Food. Buyer Beware. Greetings, On 09/24/21 I was served a burnt Chicken On The Stick at the Rice House on State Line Road. My friend, who bragged on the restaurant, called the waitress over and had me tear off a half inch of ash and crumple it into tiny black shards of ash. The waitress acted like she didn't understand us so a male dressed like a manager swooped in and said that this dish always looked like that since it was cooked "like one barbeque." A serious complaint like this at most restaurants would at least bring an apology...not an attempt to tell a trained chef that he is culturally unaware of properly prepared Chinese cuisine. I was taught by a native Mandarin chef how to cook this dish and when I showed him the food I was unable to eat, he confirmed that it was the "worst food he'd ever seen" served. We still tipped the waitress 30% because it was wasn't her fault she'd been instructed to ignore customer complaints. But to have a waitress AND a boss who act like they don't understand English is not a good business plan. I would have fed this mess to my dog, but I treat my dog better than I was treated at the Rice House. Thank You Kindly, A Chef

Always yummy to my tummy! The lunch special is the best even tho the price raised, it's worth it. You won't be disappointed.
