My father passed away Friday night unexpectedly. To make matters worse, we had a viewing set up today and we were going to make arrangements...but we got a call from Bateman Funeral Home saying that they had mixed up my dad's body with someone else who was supposed to be cremated, and my dad's remains were in the process of being cremated at that moment. No viewing, no arrangements, no choices...nothing. To say I'm livid is an understatement. How could that even happen!?? It is SO wrong.

Been here for 64 years of my life, new all the Batemans personally hate to say it I would have to pick another facility for the future.three weeks went by no communication called me and said they already got there they disappeared in the back room for over an hour didn’t get a stand it was displayed on , Makes me question if I even got the right ashes I guess business is business.

Yes. Bateman Funeral Home provides cremation services that we do onsite. We also have preplanning services. All preneeds are fully portable, so if you move, you can either transfer the monies to a different funeral home or be transported back to Bateman. Lincoln County follows the same rules for burial that the State of Oregon follows. Human remains shall be disposed of in accordance with ORS chapter 97.
