A fun, engaging, hobby store that welcomes new players while, cultivating experienced ones. Had a great time playing in the recent Iron Commander event with my wife. Player friendly management makes one feel constantly aware of tournament play as well as serving additional customer needs. As an long time MTG player, I recommend this store. Enjoy!

Clean interior, clean bathroom.(this is huge for an LGS) Bought a few singles from gentlemen behind the counter and was pleasantly surprised with how friendly and helpful he was. Prices on singles were also below the typical price by a few bucks. All in all a great facility with tons of space.

I've been going to Battleground Games for years and years. Wonderful owner and super helpful staff. They're really good about hosting gaming-related events for the community and go that extra mile for customers. There's a lot of space for playing table top games and board games, not to mention card games and tournaments. Some nights (Fridays/Saturdays) you really want to call ahead to make sure a big event isn't going on if you're intending to come down with friends to play anything.

It'll be tough looking for older games here since they order straight from publishers and games that publishers don't print anymore would be hard to get. However if you're looking for Avalon games still in print like Betrayal at the House on the Hill, you'll find it here.

Anyone know if these guys buy singles? Found some very old magic and Pokémon cards I'd like to have looked at.

Hi Matt, we do buy Magic and Pokemon singles out of our Abington location. As for as Pokemon goes, we are currently very selective. If you have a large amount of cards for either game, I recommend giving us a call at 781.261.9669 to schedule a time to drop them off / have us go through them. Thanks!
