What a nice place. Great campsites and beautiful views of the water. Well taken care of.

After reading some reviews and answers to questions I thought I would clarify some points. Camping is not free, prices are 20 a night for full hook up, 15 a night for power and water only and 12 a night for primitive. It is first come first serve. There is a bathhouse with showers and laundry available for all campers.

Nice place to relax without alot of boat traffic that is further down the river. Boat ramp is well maintained and there are alot of places to explore nearby. Clean facilities and campground is very well maintained. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice campground. I stopped in-rout for an overnight stay. Most campgrounds like this have their regulars and this one was no different. I was greeted by a couple of guys in a golf-cart who made sure I got into the campsite and informed me of the services and a little about the park. It looked like a nice destination but I will definitely plan this stop on my rout to and from Ga in the future. Its about 8 miles off of Hwy 72 but I would recommend this place any time.
