So I was so happy to get excepted to this transitional. At the time I was six months pregnant and I had an eight-year-old and a three-year-old. I only stayed here for three days and I had to leave. The first day we got there we were trying to get settled I was bringing things in but not everything because of my pregnancy. But I am mediately start cleaning because it was really dirty. The apartment was a one bedroom one bath very spacious and also infested. I started to clean the bathroom and the kitchen first and when I open up the refrigerator it was baby roaches and pregnant roaches dead inside the refrigerator. It blew my mind that they didn’t even bother to clean up the place before me and my family moved in knowing that I was pregnant. When I spoke with someone regarding bomb The Place they said that I couldn’t because it was going to mess up their process Of eliminating the infestation. My three-year-old son ate at the kitchen table with his feet on the chair scared. I decided even though my scare children didn’t know anything about roaches I know of them and I know that I am a clean person and as long as I spray and stay clean they will go away. The next day my kids woke up with bites all over them and that’s when I decided that I had to leave because although I made a decision to stay and try to get rid of the roaches there area was no way I was going to stay and allow me and my kids or bring my newborn baby into an infested house that’s infested with roaches and bedbugs and dust mites. I feel that it’s very unfortunate that the people that comes to these transitional need help and need the assistance so bad that some people would just stay there and take it but I can put my kids through that or anything else in that sort or bring a baby into this type of life and it’s sad that some women don’t have the courage to start over and make a stand and talk about these things. ☮️💜 and good luck to you all.

Not very helpful tried to separate my wife and I repeatedly.not as accommodating as said. not all staff are bad but the others hide behind religion an bureaucratic bs.they run off donations but the house you stay in is falling apart and the money doesn't seem to benefit the residents they are "trying" to help out of the 7 families that we encountered there only 1 graduated the program(and they are struggling) everyone else left with nowhere to go.

I hope this place has changed and improved since I was there in 2009. The experience was a great learning one how so many people can be so deceitful regarding appearances not everyone is who they appeared to be. God had great judgment on that place and dissatisfaction when I was there so many horrible things were happening. But God is so good ever since I left he's been blessing my family ever since! Thanks to those staff who's spirit was accurate..and to those staff who's spirit was very foul specially those in high positions (you know who you are) I truly hope you repent and correct yourselves because anything using gods name for their agenda shall be judged.
