Every time I read some of these review on here I am baffled. All my interactions with this organization have been wonderful. They have brought food to my family when we needed it even though at the time I could not afford to give a donation. They did not care they brought the food anyways and some young man came and prayed with me. A very lovely organization indeed it must be hard having to deal with all these judgmental people on the web. I believe people call these nay Sayers troll's. Well that sounds about right. These troll's need to leave these young men and women to I think, alone and let them be about their business of helping people. If you don't want to donate then don't simple as that. and don't be afraid to ask for help from them they are more than willing to give it.

Would give Zero star if possible. They ignored my NO SOLICITING sign on my front door. Rang doorbell after 5pm. I ignored and they tried again after a few minutes. When I didn't answer that they TAPPED ON MY WINDOW!!!! This is extremely annoying, aggressive and Scary. That's what burglars do!!! This is very unacceptable and I hear from neighbors that this is common with this organization.

I have to say I'm not familiar with the charity work from this organization, so this review is not based on that. I came home to a “sorry we missed you! Your new curb address is painted” note taped to my door last week. Yesterday a male came pounded on my door heavily (I didn’t open the door) but he left another note suggesting a donation of $20 be made by Venmo, cash or check. I started questioning myself if this was a scam because the company logo on the note looked like it was copied and past. I attempted to contact the organization using the phone number listed on their website, but there was no recording on the machine that confirmed I was calling the organization it claims to be. The organization is in Santa Fe Springs, the address on the slip left at my doorstep is in Hemet CA and I live in San Diego. Do you see where I going with this?! I could be wrong, I don’t know of any organizations that go from door to door or in case doing curb address painting for such cause. Could the people showing up to our doorstep be scammers? Any thoughts...

Questions & Answers

How much of the take do the collecters recieve?

We give a small commission to each collector for their time and trouble. Its not an easy job knocking on doors and asking for donations expecially when they are treated very poorly by some people who already have a negative preconcived notion about curbpainters. We would not be able to get anyone to volunteer to collect donations for us if we didnt.

will you paint the number on the top of the curb not the side?

We can paint the numbers on the top of the curb as long as it coincides with all city ordinances. Every city is a little different and we follow all city laws. Thank you for your question
