Great local store. I live close and head there whenever I have an in-person need. They've helped with all kinds of guitar needs over the years, with cases, strings, advice, electronics. The staff is knowledgeable. Today I came in with a couple of high E strings that broke immediately from new sets. The lady put two replacements in my hand with little more than light questioning. This is the kind of service you will NEVER get online. Go there for the small and big stuff. They'll stand behind whatever they sell.

This store has a good vibe and the employees are nice when selling products. The worst experience I’ve had in this store is selling instruments and equipment to them. They've bought from me on two different occasions now, with different employees working the sales - and I will never sell to them again. The first time I brought in a DW snare drum along with some other percussion instruments. Particularly with the snare I wanted $250, and they offered me $200 and were firm - their reasoning being that they were going to sell it for $300. Clearly stated during the conversation. I came back a week later to browse and it was marked at $400. The second time I brought in a Godin A6 guitar. I asked for $500, they offered $400, but met me at $450 - their reasoning being that it would be sold for $600. I walked in today and the price tag is over $1000. I understand that selling to businesses like this comes at a cost, I’ve worked in secondhand music retail and understand the margins. What I’m not okay with is the blatant lies from multiple employees just so they can close a sale. This is the last time I’ll have anything to do with this store and hope that anyone else selling products to them doesn’t get lied to the same way I did. EDIT: After seeing their reply, it seems my message wasn't conveyed well. Put simply: By lying to close a sale multiple times, it seems the regular practice is to take advantage of people who are assuming the best in someone else's character. The store took advantage of me twice, so the second time is on me - I assumed the best in someone's character, but they found information about my items that I didn't find in prior research and capitalized on it. I'm hoping that by reading this there can be a learning experience for the people involved in future sales - on both sides of the transaction.

I went yesterday just to LOOK at a guitar that I've been wanting [the Fender H.E.R. Stratocaster] and they had it, it was soooo pretty, the guys were all very nice and helpful, and they allowed me to purchase through Reverb and pick it up in the store today.!! They also said they would buy the electric guitar that I currently have from me. I'm sooooooo excited to continue my journey to becoming a Rockstar with THIS beauty.

I love coming to this store!! There's always so many pretty and rare instruments there, it fills my band geek heart with endless joy. The employees are always nice and even let you handle the instruments even if you are not looking to buy anything. One day when I have enough money for more instruments, I will definitely buy one from here. There are also frequent sales, and my family has gotten two alto saxophones and one flute from this store, and they all play great! I wish I could come and visit this store all the time, but unfortunately I live in Clarksville. But whenever we take a trip to Nashville, I always ask, "Can we go to the music store!??" I just love this place so much

It's a good place to start. If not, try Paragon Mills Loan. I think they specialize in music equipment.
Of course.
