Beautiful state park with some good and very scenic hiking. Dog friendly. The Tennessee Rock trail was perfect for us. The trail features different scenery such as ferna in one area, lots of mountain Laurel in another and an amazing scenic vista in yet another. Highly recommend!

Nice hiking. Lots of shade and the elevation keeps it pretty comfortable. No bugs were bothering me on my hike, but when I got home I was covered with chigger bites. So, be sure to put on insect repellent as a preventative.

This was a beautiful state park! Spectacular views. Very clean facilities. Camp sites were some of the cleanest I've ever seen. The ambiance was peaceful. I WILL be back!

This is a beautiful Georgia State Park with a little something for everyone. Drive up to the visitors center for a beautiful mountian view right off of the parking lot. This is a great spot for people with young kids that still want to see the view. For an easy hike take a stroll around the lake. For a moderate hike try out Tennessee Rock Trail. And for a difficult hike try James E Edmonds trail (pictures attached are from this trail, however I have done all 3 listed above & would recommend). Please be aware James E Edmonds trail is a very difficult hike. The last 2 miles are up hill, so be prepared with lots of water & give yourself plenty of time. But it is a truly beautiful hike (one of my favorites).

Yes you can and it is awesome Campground if you have the opportunity to go ahead and go
Yes. They have tent camping both primitive or with electric. The cabins are nice too.
Probably a little big for in there those roads are very tight
There is a lake but it is not clean enough to swim in at ALL. Through out the hike there are small creeks and streams over boulders but nothing to swim in. Plan on a great work out. Bring lots of water, a filter if you have one and dont want to carry a bunch of water. If you go in the heat you will need more than a liter of water!!! (If you do the long trail) enjoy!
No public transportation to speak of anywhere near here. Sorry😢
Its a state park in north east Georgia with hiking trails, camping, and beautiful views of the mountains!
Unicoi has barrel cabin. Just like an a frame with rounded sides.
