This family styled resturant has become a favorite over the years for lunch. The menu gives you a great choice of items to order. Our family has chosen; ribs, brisket, country fried steak, catfish filets, hamburgers, fresh salads, pulled pork, various veggies, bananna pudding and peanut butter pie....probably missed several items. All of what we've ordered has been great. Prices are from $ to $$$ depending on what you order and the sides. In our current times they've held close to pricing as is possible. Check their hours and days open.

If you like a beautiful country drive and fresh food, take a trip to Mountain Parkway Grill. They have a sweet staff, fast and friendly service and delicious food. Everything is fresh. They have a salad bar with fresh veggies and fresh made pea and carrot salads. It's crazy how much better a salad taste with fresh veggies and homemade ranch dressing. They have other dressings as well. Everything is delicious. The brisket is awesome and their smoked meat is amazing. Do yourself a favor and go visit them.

The building is very nice and clean, a quaint porch on the front with a very impressive entrance. There is ample seating, very clean inside with pleasant and helpful staff. The BBQ meat had a good texture but not a lot of taste. The sauce was brought out in a cold, not room temperature squeeze bottle, it was tangy but I didn’t use much because I like my food hot. The Mac and cheese was very thin and didn’t have much cheese taste. The baked beans were good and the best part of my meal. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly but the gravy wasn’t very flavorful and very thick, like it had been sitting awhile. Would recommend the okra and turnip greens. They do have an extensive menu and we will be eating here again. ***I’ve heard the steaks are excellent but expensive, that will be my next update.
