This place is an awesome weekend trip..! There are falls with a swimming hole at each one. Beautiful scenery and hiking trails with long excursion hiking/camping as an option. I even found the BUDDHA on this trip 😁 , someone lost there necklace I hope they found it I carried back to the front and place it on the maps station... Tracy city has some interesting Tennessee history to check out as well👍👍

The fiery gizzard trail is one of my favorites in the area. There's a great two mile loop and longer hikes available as well. The swimming hole and it's little waterfall is so much fun. Be sure to take a look at some of the rock outcroppings along the way

Such a wonderful surprise to find this trail and campground tucked behind some trailers. It was absolutely beautiful, complete with a creek and waterfalls. There is a 3 mile loop and then a 13 mile trail to foster falls or a 8 mile loop with some “strenuous” conditions that called for a warning sign, so something for various time frames and stamina. Fortunately there was a worker at the trailhead to answer any questions. We camped at the south Cumberland grounds which were about .6 miles in. We booked the night before online for 12$. The sites were spaced well so you felt like you were alone. At night you could hear the occasional car on a road close by and a dog barking but other than that it was a good spontaneous camping experience.

Thank you for being dog friendly! Gibson loved everything about this trail! We took the Grundy Day Loop which offered so much! The trail was for sure moderate, but accomodations (rock steps and bridges) were placed to help the extra tough areas. We loved all the shade and water access. Such a beautiful and well maintained trail!

I think no. Some parts of the trail is just for hiking. I havent seen any trail for that. The place is so beautiful and very scenic that may be OHV is not allowed. Its scenic hike and love the sound of the water flowing.
Yes - several
Not that I'm aware of in Grundy Forest. Cumberland caverns aren't far tho. Less than an hour away.
