Up until tonight I have had nothing but awesome service at this establishment. I got there a little before 8 for sliders and beer. But after waiting 10 minutes for the server who told me they stopped serving the special at 8. I asked her what time it was and she did not want to verify what time it was nor did she want to even try to accommodate me. I ordered a beer which she brought immediately and told me that the menu was there for me to order. After another 15 minutes she still did not show up at my table. Meanwhile the bartender delivered sliders to the table behind me. The bartender finally saw that I was a little hangry and came to my table. I gave him my card to try to pay for the beer and he would not allow me to pay for it. I tried to explain to him that she never came back to the table. He, with hatred in his eyes, in turn told me not to talk bad about that lady because she was his wife. In the workplace the wife thing should be left at the door. Business is business. She was not my wife she was my incompetent server. The whole time he was working she was fraternizing with the little clique they had at the bar. He was not only covering for himself but her as well. I have never in my life felt racially profiled but I did tonight. I have never felt unwanted in any establishment but I did tonight when he walked me to the door taking up for his wife rather than listening to feedback. I will take cash back to pay for that beer because a free beer does not make the way both of them treated me right. As far as not talking bad about his wife OK. But I will trash talk that incompetent server he was taking up for. I will trash talk him for bringing his personal feelings into the workplace. Good thing I didn't have a penny to leave for her tip but that would have been too much. She was still hanging out with the customers at the bar like she was the whole time I was there when he escorted me to the door. Seemed like he was looking to cause trouble with me. I honestly felt like I was treated like a criminal. No I am more of a lady than she will ever be. I am lucky if I go to a bar twice a year, Thanks dude for ruining that for me.

It's been awhile since I've hung out at the Downtown. I've been curious about the food these days. Covid changed the dynamics. Changes were made to survive. Food is now a serious part of their business and I'm pleased to say it was delicious! I tried 3 dishes and all are worth a thumbs up. We DO have another place in Sweet Home to eat. It's called the Downtown. Enjoy.

First time. New to town. Son picked up food for a family if 5. Posting to give around hands apologies for the bar tender/cheif aka (same person tonight.) Hands down complaiments from us all. My husband is a ex chief. Excellent he found a new trade cause restraint life is hard, and his family gets to enjoy his home cooked meals now. Plus way more family time. I have worked as a server/ bartender for over 20 years. Our experience combined to being a bit stuff up on our food. This place hands down we will order from again. We're big city raised with skills in that food field. But also country at heart. God bless our small businesses. We just agreed to spend our money thier knowing thier is as much heart 💜 in it as we gave. Not feeling cheated with taste of quality with your fair prices. Look forward to another take out order from you.

Food is really good!! Drinks are good! Thursday sliders are sooo good. Employees are super nice. Love this place. Ive lived here for 9 years, husband his entire life. Just this year decided to check it out and it did not disappoint. It's now a regular spot for us.
