They all seem to be about the same in this State.Nice boardwalks,no signs telling you about the the place,or which way to go . Just guess? And where are all the animals? Been to many of the Park's And State Parks, summer, fall and winter hardly a bird! There's more wildlife where I'm from in northern Wisconsin.. it's really pathetic around here.. you have all your pretty flyers about how nice it is in Florida, but it's only nice at the resorts and places you can control.. otherwise it's only cars, traffic and too many people . .

I love this quaint park, I keep going back. Pretty boardwalks, paths, waterways, turtles, pileated woodpeckers, wildlife. I want to kayak it, hopefully soon. I wish dogs were allowed, but it doesn't keep me from going. I feel safe here going alone as it's very public and many others are there alone.

This was a beautiful place for a gentle walk. There was a cute library trail with a book spread out along a path for little ones to read. There are so many quiet areas to sit, relax, and just take in the nature around you. I was very pleased with the shade coverage and I loved the beauty of the boardwalk.

Dogs are NOT allowed in any of the parks (but the Dog-park) they have signs up... had to put new signs up saying No domestic animals allowed, because the old signs said No Dogs, people were riding horses ....
No. They're very strict on their No Dogs policy bc there's a ton of gopher tortoises and wildlife.
Bowfin- mudfish, dogfish, grennel, chiopique... Bluegill, red-ear sunfish Alligator Gar Channel Bass- Reds Bass Catfish Mangrove snapper River Eel Snook And supposedly Tarpon and Jacks I’m sure this answer was more helpful than the rest
Free just watch I ran into a person trying to follow than bother me. He left to follow someone else I called new port Richey police. Because he left then came back
Is it necessary to rent one..what if we just go there and use it without reserving it
Personally, i have not seen any but then and again, i wasn't looking. There are paved areas near the ramp and picnic area though.
"Gate" refers to closing the park at night till morning
