The hotel was very nice. Problems: - I reserved a room with 2 double beds for my daughter, her husband, my granddaughter and myself and we were put in a room with 1 king bed - Our room had 2 bathrooms but only had 1 wash cloth and there was 4 of us. When asked, we waited for hours after getting out of the pool, no one ever brought us washcloths, so we had to wash with hand towels we got from the gym. - There was no gift shop or place to buy small food items- specifically juice for the my granddaughter, there was only soda, water and beer as options, which was really disappointing. -When I asked where we could get juice near the hotel, was informed my the front desk that there was a place just around the corner…it was actually almost a half mile walk away - Our bathroom door got accidentally locked shut and we asked for someone to come unlock it, no one ever came for over an hour and we finally found some way to use things we had in our bags to jimmy the door open. I would love to go to this hotel again because of the location and ambiance, but the customer care is very lacking. I wish I could have gotten my money back and stayed somewhere else.

Room was clean, staff helpful but….We had a prepaid room and the hotel charged us $2454 on top on what was already paid, call them after 2 days and said is a mistake, and suggested i should call back to their accounting in another 3 days…we did not had money for the rest of the trip. Terrible situation and very bad customer service.

If there is a opinion for zero star, I would give a zero star to this hotel. Literally THE WORST HOTEL EVER. The room is dirty and the service is terrible. People who work at the front desk could barely speck English and when I checked in this hotel, the front desk employee asked for deposit fees for my staying which is $100 for per night and later I checked my bank acc, they OVER charged me $800 without telling me. They are also very UNPROFESSIONAL that they gave me a room that has already people lived in it, when I entered the room and people who lived in the room yelled at me. Everything sucks here. It literally ruined my vacation.. WORST experience.

The room is dirty. Not just they didn’t wipe the bathroom this one time dirty, it has been neglected for a while. Stains on most of furniture. Overall, just disappointing. Details have been neglected for a while. The staff was rude on several occasions. The hotel was disappointing. The view of the water and the quiet (other than highway noise) could have made for a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast is very good.

The parking is not free but the only charge you $10 dlls and your car will be safe (worthy). You can park your car down the streets close to the Hotel if you don't want to pay for it.
Dear Barry Hauser, thank you for your inquiry. Valet parking currently costs $27 (plus 7% tax) per night per vehicle. We hope this helps. Thank you and we look forward to hosting you. Have a lovely day!
Dear Charise Brown, thank you for your inquiry and interest in the Grand Beach Hotel Bay Harbor. It takes approximately 25 - 30min. from our hotel to the Port of Miami by car. We hope this information helps. Please let us know, if we could be of further assistance. Have a good day.
In Bay Harbor there is a mall very close, and in Collins there are many shops, and you can go to other malles, you can get an Uber and in a few minutes you can be, the mall of the Americas, the Delfin mall and Aventura mall, this is closer.
There's no transfer from the Hotel to the cruise terminal. But you can take an Uber from there or a taxi. It will cost you about 20 dollars.
There is also a nice Italian and Thai Japanese restaurant right around the corner. In addition, lots of places to eat few blocks away on Harding Ave.
