Holiday Inn Express & Suites Largo-Clearwater, an IHG Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and, overall, it was a good value for the price. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area it's definitely one of the best values around, but not necessarily for a more splurgy family beach vacation. The room was very large, lots of room for activities. The amenities provided were great; like I said, it's a great value for the price. The hotel and room were both clean; the sheets were soft and well-laundered. The breakfast was good, there was plenty of selection, different offerings on different days, and the staff was attentive and even made a special request for another guest. The front desk is very nice, everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were very, very fast. However, I wanted to point out the two issues I had with the hotel. The biggest gripe I have with this hotel (and really the only thing that put a damper on my stay at all) was how much noise is carried through the hotel. All of the floors are hardwood and there are no rugs, so sound carries really significantly; I could hear all of the goings-on of my neighbors across the hall. Additionally, the back door is left propped open so anyone can enter without having an access card. Again, these didn't have a massive overall impact on my stay just because everyone was so lovely and it was such a great value. 4 stars overall!

Very clean! Great set up for smart devices. Great breakfast. Great staff and everything was well maintained. Only minor complaint is the beds are very high. I am short, so it was a little difficult getting in and out of bed. But overall, we were VERY pleased with everything.

I was not expecting to need a hotel room, so our stay was at the last minute. My wife was in labor and preparing to give birth to our third child. She was not progressing fast enough to stay at the birth center we were using. We needed to make a decision because the center was about 5 minutes away from the hotel and a trip back home was about an hour drive. I entered the lobby, explained our situation to the front desk person, and asked if I could use my points/reward night. After checking with the manager, she stated that they could not allow me to use my points/reward night, but she was able to offer me a "medical" discount. The discount was a huge help and really allowed us to relax as we continued preparing to welcome our daughter. We ended up staying for only about a hour before going back to the birth center and giving birth. The level of customer services and willingness to help is something that had a definitive impact on our experience at this location, as well as our daughter's birth story.

We stay at many Holiday Inn in our travel because of our membership, This by far was one of the nicest cleanest friendliest accommodating Holiday Inn that we have been to for sometime. The breakfast was fabulous the service was amazing highly recommend! One more thing the room was extra large plenty of room and very clean and beautiful…. Linda & Bill 😎
