The food wasn't right and tough as nails was supposed to be ribeye and got skirt steak way over cooked and wrong meat

1 of 2 of of my families favorite restaurants in town. A little pricey, but the quality of the food is excellent. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but it is just because they are short staffed. But they always take good care of us.

Standard Tex Mex type food with average taste and low price point. We ordered the 1. El Jacal Fajitas for 1(the meat was good it had very few of the added veggies it was suppose to have but overall had a nice flavor), 2. The steak chimi (was a lil under fried, overall was standard, 3. Kids beef enchilada plate our daughter thought the enchilada was good. We all thought the beans and rice were not very pleasant and overly salty. The guacamole was also very salty. We also ordered the al acarte tamale and found out that they are not made in store. So although the tamales was topped with beef the pork filling was very slight the masa however was very nice consistency and a nice flavor. For the price vs quality and taste we prefer mexi wings in Sweetwater TN

Went with dessert first and had the cheesecake chimi and it was bomb. Had the steak chimichanga and it was pretty good. Chips and salsa are amazing!
