Donations of clothing and household goods can be taken to Hillcrest's thrift stores in Lenexa or Lee's Summit. The housing sites keep very little of these items on hand, letting residents and program graduates "shop" the selection available at the thrift stores when they have a need. Also, nearly all sales at the thrift stores go toward funding the programs and housing sites because Hillcrest uses volunteers for most of the thrift store operations.
For the best and fastest results I would go to the actual office and fill out the application there. That's how I got in.
You have to work 40 hours a week to stay here.
