Unbelievably terrible booking staff. Made a reservation with the employee at the front desk over the phone, wasn’t told about a deposit being also added and waiting 5-7 business days to receive the deposit back after driving about an hour. Now I’m having too leave , deposit money in the bank and not being prepared for a deposit fee I won’t be getting back until next week. This is poor customer service because I contacted the hotel directly, reserving my room and also paying over the phone to more things being needed upon arrival. The owner or manager should be training employees too tell customers exactly what is expected. Not further delays after driving an hour too get too the hotel.

I like the room, except for 2 things. The pillows were damp and smelled musty which was very gross and the refrigerator was turned down with no way of turning it up, which sucked because I had food and drinks that needed refrigerated. However, it was nice having Walmart across the road from me, so I could go buy snacks. Also, the breakfast was good

Bed bugs, mold, room was not clean at all. I booked a room for a friend who was not feeling well and needed a break. I went to check on them and the room was in awful condition. The headboard was not ever wiped down, there was mold everywhere in the bathroom, shower curtain and under the fridge. Other things were not clean the ac buttons, the ottoman etc. There were bed bugs and has bites even and now trying to deal with them and washing all the things. It has just created a huge disaster for someone who just needed a break and a clean room. The whole place abs room also smelled like cigarette smoke. All around disappointing. I was sick within 20 minutes of being there. I promptly checked out and went somewhere else, but they’d already been there two nights and it was too late for the bug bites and bugs and mold for that matter. When I first got there I asked the front desk to replace the shower curtain and to be fair they did and quickly. There were hand written signs out front advertising needing cleaners and staff. If they’re that understaffed they shouldn’t be renting rooms.

The experience exceeded my expectation. My room was well lit and very clean. The bathroom fixtures were sparkling clean. The drains in the sink and tub were perfect. There was no standing water or residue in the sink bowel or bathtub. The rainfall-type shower heads were great. Overall this hotel is a real bargain for the price. The location offers easy access to Garland, Sachse, Rowlett and Rockwell.
