Getting packages here is impossible. They put the luxer one on a garage with no access to the delivery drivers. I have had 3 packages stolen because the drivers frequently give up and leave the package at the front of the apartment complex. Added pictures of the new current situation. Unsecured packages are being piled up everywhere. Adding insult to injury people are cutting open the packages to see what's inside.

Finding a new place to live is such a hard and stressful process. My girlfriend Emma and I were looking for our first place together and we wanted everything to be perfect. After what felt like 100’s of places we came across The District Apartments in La Mesa. We looked through all of the pictures and video walkthroughs online and all of boxes were checked when it came to what we were looking for. We loved the clean, modern look of the apartments. Beautiful counter tops and cabinets with stainless steel appliances, the modern laminate floors, nice balcony with storage, in unit washer and dryer, heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, open floor plan, dog friendly, and much more .. these are all the things we wanted and we now have here in our new place. We are so happy to call this our new home and none of this could have been possible without the kind, friendly, and personable assistance from Gustavo. After finally finding a place with nearly all positive reviews (a lot mentioning Gustavo) we decided to give The District a call and I was so happy that Gustavo was the one who answered the phone that day. From the very first phone call to the many after that (there were tons) Gustavo was very welcoming and 100% authentic and transparent. This was a breath of fresh air after dealing with other complexes and their leasing offices. Gustavo treated us how anybody would want to be treated in this situation. He mentioned that he liked to be honest and transparent because if he was in our position that is exactly what he would want in a person.. and he stayed true to his word. We moved from the Bay Area to here in San Diego so we were not able to tour the place in person. Gustavo went above and beyond to guide us though the process and give us peace of mind. We called every day with questions about practically everything and he was always happy to answer them. Even when we began to feel annoying he still insisted we call or email him with any questions or concerns. A lot of the reason we chose to live here at The District is thanks to Gustavo and we are so relieved that everything turned out the way it did. We are fully moved in now and so excited to start a new chapter here in San Diego. Thank you Gustavo. Me and my family really enjoyed the tour that was provided by Gustavo. His hospitality and honesty created a comfortable environment throughout the process. He was very specific with what we needed to know about the unit and made sure that every question was answered. I really enjoyed getting to know my new environment and meeting some neighbors. The pool and jacuzzi was inviting and the TWO 24hour gym was the icing on cake! The fact that me and my family don’t have to worry about parking was very comforting and really gave meaning to the word “Home”. The resources around us such as Target, Costco, family restaurants and grossmont mall are really convenient for me and my family. And when it comes down to our safety I really felt comfortable when hearing about the nightly patrols done by their security guards. Overall the welcoming Gustavo provided really came to show how much they care for their tenants. Excited to move in before the holidays and truly blessed to be able to spend Christmas Day with my family at our new home all thanks to the help that Gustavo and his team provided!

Living here is very comfortable and beautiful. We have a family and we always feel safe and our neighbors are friendly. The front office, in particular Gustavo and maintenance team, in particular Al, are always ready to help. We love the urban feel of it here, with the trolley across the way.They have gathering areas with grills for cook outs but if you can't cook they have food trucks throughout the month. I love the free yoga by the pool every week! It's a great community, I highly recommend it.
