Worst customer service I’ve had at a GameStop location. Tried trading in my old Xbox one s in order to earn some money before buying the new Xbox, at their location as well. Before I went in, I called to ask how much my Xbox was worth and they said $154 ( it also stated $154 online but I wanted to make sure with their location that it was the right amount). I went in in the evening and they refused my service because I went in at 7:50something and they closed their store at 9. Their excuse was that they “don’t do trade ins after 8pm (an hour before closing).” Went in the next day to try and do it and they were only offering me $88 for the Xbox, while online it still said $154. Talked to the employee , and he couldn’t even give me a customer service phone number to call for help. His response was “I can’t do anything about it,” while the manager was in the back not even coming out to try and resolve this issue. I ended up going to the Mission Marketplace GameStop location in Oceanside and they easily added the difference on to the screen in order to make up for the $154 worth, instead of $88.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Called to ask if i place online order, can they hold and let my mother pick up in store, they said yes, went to place the order and saw shipping only as delivery option, called agian and they confirmed that they could pull and hold the order for in store pickup, when my mother arrived, they changed story and said they cant release the order. On top of all that, i got billed for 2 items, but only ordered 1. How do we fix this? Team members need more training, and to not lie to their paying customers, they themselves, need to understand that they cannot make things up on the fly. Lucky for them, Google forces me to put 1 star on this review, me knowing full well, they deserve 0 stars...

Oh my god, the level of professionalism, helpfulness, and AWESOMENESS I received today by a cool dude named Collin. Mr. Collin and I had a long conversation about various Nintendo games (He remembered me when I bought the switch a couple days ago). To sum it up this place is awesome and Collin was SUPER DOPE AND HELPFUL!

My son wanted Luigi’s Mansion for his Switch, so with school cancelled I thought it wouldn’t be a bad investment. Lindsey greeted me as I walked in and immediately began looking on the sales floor/wall for my item. Sold out was the verdict; however, a used copy was available for five bucks less! A very helpful team.
