Always friendly people and a good place to rack up the bike and wrench it. Inexpensive spare parts usually

I LOVE this place !!! I have been coming here for 8 years. I was looking for a new used cruiser and found one for $115 ! This one will do great for now ! David, Shane and Amir were so helpful, professional and friendly. It is always a great experience! Highly recommended ! I am a super casual biker and knew nothing about bikes at first. This shop has inspired me to keep biking. Extra shout out to Shane for teaching me how to load it up effectively, Amir for sharing his French music playlist. And :) David for so quickly coming to help me test ride it. Thank you team !

They couldn’t have been more helpful in helping my toddlers with tuneups for their balance bikes. We will come back when they are ready for peddle bikes!

Love this place it made me so happy! I got an amazing tune up which would have been expensive for the condition of my bike and I learned how to fix it so next time I have a problem I can work on it myself! Bo was super helpful!

We charge $8 an hour and $4 for half an hour. We will work with you no matter what your budget is. Used parts are very reasonably priced but new parts are sold at retail prices. We’re happy to work with you on a sliding scale as long as you let us know up front.
Yes, you can pump your tires for free here
Yes, check bikerowave.org for stand time rates and shop schedule. It's busy at earlier hours, so call ahead to see if there are stands and volunteers available for guidance.
This is a diy shop, there are mechanics that can help you with your bike though. You rent a stand and work on your bike, the mechanics can assist but you will be the one working on the bike
That would most likely be the Bicycle Kitchen. They are located at: 4429 Fountain Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029 www.bicyclekitchen.com
Hey, unfortunately we don't have a way to do that. Your best bet is probably the local buy/sell/trade bikes and bike parts groups on Facebook. Good luck!
Depends on what's been donated. A true 26" BMX is probably not that common. More likely the closest you'll find is a 26" hardtail MTB frame that u can build up as a single speed with or without front suspension.
Go in during business hours and tell somebody you'd like to volunteer. They should point you to the head mechanic for the shift, who can give you an orientation. If you volunteer 12 hours per month, you station member status which gives you voting rights as to how the space is run, as well as discounts on parts.
