Please stay away from Marlene at this shop, not sure what all services she offers but my mother took my daughters here to get their hair done and Marlene totally didn’t understand the assignment, she was asked to do basic perm and style on my 9 year old girl and what she did was put a perm on her hair and sit her under the dryer with the perm on her hair and then attempted to style the hair afterwards first red flag was the way my daughter hair was smelling, really strong chemical smell like the perm wasn’t rinsed out good shortly after her hair begin to fall out around the edges my mother contacted Marlene to tell her about what is going on and Marlene was very dry and unconcerned about the issue and even just read the messages we sent her without replying back, she was asked several times what perm she used on her hair so we wouldn’t use it again in the future and she finally replied back she used a kids perm never gave a name or sent a picture to show what she used no apology or offer to treat my daughters hair for the breaking edges, my daughters were really excited to get their hair done at this shop only to be let down by a unprofessional hairstylist who obviously doesn’t care about her clients or potential clients hair at all there is no reason for her actions and I really didn’t want to leave a bad review because the shop has good reviews but after reaching out to Marlene and seeing how she really didn’t care about anything other than the fact that she had already been paid I was left no choice but to say please don’t go to Marlene for your hair care needs, and for my other daughter she braided her hair but it was not done well at all just pretty much threw her hair together I only ask for a braided ponytail using my daughters own hair and she didn’t do a good job at all on something so simple and basic and she fumbled that as well never going back here at all and you should stay away from her as well

Make an appointment before you go. I was told I could wait for other barbers to show up and get a haircut, ok cool. 1 customer in front of me. 2 more barbers showed up 2 more customers in front of me, 1 hour later, I left with no haircut. Not really upset, should of made the appointment. The barbers I saw in action have skill and could cut some hair and you can tell they work with a sense of pride. Just would of been nice if I could have got a haircut or told to schedule an appointment for another day. Guess you could say below average communication with a potential new client, made me take my $25 to a shop that wanted it.

Great Shop, The atmosphere is nice and saturated. The barbers are great and very observant. Bernad did an awesome job on my eyebrows. And he gave my sons one of thee best hair cuts they have ever had. Great man of GOD! We have made him our personal barber. Thanks Bernard

Moved to the area 2 years ago - and have been getting my haircuts here since. Jimmy, the owner, always greets me upon entrance. As an educator working with kids, I’m particular about my hair but have always left the place feeling satisfied, as the barbers are skilled and experienced with all types of hair. Have tried several barbershops around the area that charge a lot more than the quality and results that are given to me here, so highly recommend this place. Just communicate clearly what you want to your barber, book an appointment ahead of time to avoid the rush (if you’re on a tight schedule) and you’ll be fine! A shout out to Michael Dennis on my latest visit to the shop for his professionalism and precision!
