This place is no place to come to if you have no patience. If you want to be attended right away then you need to go to a ER Veterinarian. Even though the wait can be long at times and you must wait outside, this is the place for your pet to get the best care. My dog has had bad experiences with vets and hates them. After she went in she came out normal and not as anxious. You can tell they really do care about the animals. Thanks to them my dog Luna got the prescription medication she needed to recover and is living her best life again.

They are In a hurry to get you out, the staff and Dr's treat you like a number. They don't do appointments and it's walk in only so do not expect to get treated with any kind of empathy. The employees are stressed out because it's so busy. Not enough staff and they talk really fast. Not going to trash them because they have a default in the system but wish they would be more patient and empathetic with your pet which they can't do because it's so fast paced. I'll just stick to my own veterinarian. I hope in the future they change the system they are using. FYI this is not a complaint and not their fault.

Staff are super friendly and they do take walk ins, you will have to park your car in the spot and give them a call to check in. I went there three times for my dog’s vaccination, we were well taken care of on every visit, literally the best place for your pet! The vet who takes care of my puppy was surprisingly responsible, he answered all my questions without letting me feel like I’m wasting his time. Front receptionists were helpful and nice, the whole place gives people good vibe.

Friday I had to take my coco in because he was in a lot of pain and totally not his happy self. I saw Dr Mosley (which I have seen her many times before) but I was so upset about coco acting the way he was so she took blood work and xrays she completely but me at ease and said he had arthritis in his back. She gave me meds for his back and coco is back to his normal self. Dr. Mosley is awesome and I will see her again and I don’t care how long I have to wait to see her.

Could be nothing. They could remove it and perform a biopsy for cancer.
I believe you can. In the lobby there's a candle with a sign that asks people to lower their voice if the candle is lit as an owner is in a room saying their goodbyes to their pet.
They do provide those services but they're expensive. I asked how much it would cost to spay my female pitbull & it was $800 here. There are other places around SD that do it for a fraction of that. If you're low income, the humane society provides that service for around $100 depending on the weight of your animal. However, because of covid, they're not currently taking those appointments. They do provide a list of vets that can perform the service though. Its on their website.
Don't use Petsmart on Jackman. My dog started to pee pee on the floor of the place as soon as the groomers came to get her. Something happened. She LOVES going to Petco, though.
