Such a gorgeous place. I love to play disc golf down there.

Not grand, not bland. Small, sweet, and hidden away, this green little gem in the rough has a lot going for it. I did not do the camping area, but I did explore most of the grounds. As of July 2022, the bathrooms were quaint but well maintained. The pavilions are spread out, giving large groups the ease of not being in each other's hair. The lawns were well maintained and groomed for disc golf. Lots of sunny and shady spots to rest alike. The trees are mostly mature, providing children with climbing opportunities. What I like best was the river access for small boats. That part of Shelley is a gem and needs to remain simple. I saw the game wardens come through and they were super nice with an angler coming in. The playground has a nice location, surrounded by mature trees, making summer play wonderful for chillin' parents and it keeps the equipment cool for the kids (we all miss the 198° sun-roasted, scalding plastic slide of death, no?). Again, small park with a few smart perks, well-groomed and off the beaten path.

Memorial weekend.no attendant anywhere, at at anytime.. Cannot access the bathrooms w/out code, so tenters had to relieve behind bldg. After canvassing other campers, found someone to give code. The ladies was tried at least 30 times and didn't work. Had to use the men's shower. Code should have been given immediately upon making reservation, or a greeter upon arrival to answer questions. Water faucet leaks horribly right next to power outlet.

Nice little RV park, it has great grounds. We had a really great pull through spot within walking distance to the Snake River but you could only see it through the boat launch. There's a historical park which has really cute little covered wagons little cottages they have a great little garden.

I'm sure it would not be a problem, if you keep a good distance from the RV and houses and playgrounds. Honestly I would think Taylorview Park would be a better fit. This park has way more traffic.
