Other than the internet it is okay. The internet is the worst experience of my lifetime even if I connected via cable It claims to be fast (>130 MBs) but it goes down within a few minutes even to kBs with a CAT 8 cable. Thank you Spectrum. I think you should offer residents to install their own internet. Providing such unstable internet for all residents ruin all of the experience here. I don't mind spending $20-40 per month for a better internet. Also please remove the word "high-speed internet" as this is definitely wrong. Intermittent disconnection does not qualify such claim at all. Spectrum is one of the worst internet providers here in town, so I don't know why you sign a contract with them.

Lived there for 3 years. The rooms, facilities, and grounds are very nice, as are the custodial and maintenance staff. We felt compelled to leave after dozens of dismal, disrespectful, antagonistic interactions with the housing staff across many months, many individuals, many topics. There's bias and selectivity in enforcement of any of their arbitrary rules (see, for instance, not being able to have a window reflecting shade to block the intense sun to avoid having our interior temperatures reach 84; but then allowing dozens of rooms to hang political signs in their windows). There's screening of your packages for "non-permitted items" from the outside, and sending back to sender, when the actual item was just packaged in a different box for shipment. There's the constant tone of disrespect when trying to get help for specific needs (of which we witnessed more than one extra twist of disrespect against non-English speakers). There were other issues (e.g., wifi bad; clearly no budget for maintenance from the construction dust; mailroom challenges) but the main one was the housing staff, from top of leadership to the rank-file, and destroyed the myth of being a community led by values and instead felt like tip-toeing around an angry dictator. We hope there is change, but now even months removed, still feel a great disappointment in what has the potential to be an amazing place -- but for the HDH staff.

Excellent news living space for graduate students at UCSD. Workout amenities, social gathering spaces and plenty of parking.

Excellent service from the staff , there’s a gym, the studio is confortable and very well ventilated. It doesn’t have air conditioning, but that’s not an issue . Internet has work great so far , hope it won’t broke when classes begin . The parking lot is close to the apartments and the location of the buildings are excellent.
