My wife and I recently received a very beautiful cutting board from Sonoma and within 40 days it started to warp. I’ve taken excellent care of it seasoned it so on but when I took it back to Williams Sonoma they said without original proof of purchased they wouldn’t even consider a swap. I explained how it would be embarrassing to go back to the people who gave it to us but they didn’t care I walked out very dissatisfied as they they wouldn’t even try to resolve this and I was ready to spend a few hundred dollars more on some other kitchen equipment while I was there But..off to kitchen kaboodle I go

I was looking for espresso cups. The lady helped show me what little they had. I went to get the cups and came back to the register, ready to pay. The lady was gone, but another lady was there. She was not engaging with customers. I was at the register with my card and items ready to purchase. I made eye contact with her several times. She saw me, she chose to ignore me. I waited over 5 min at the register and she did not help me, nor did anyone else. I put the cups back and left the store without making a purchase. EPIC FAIL for CUSTOMER SERVICE. How not to sell. This is the reason why I shop online.

Very pricey (sometimes a little overpriced in my opinion) and the staff seems to be trained to follow costumers around and ask if they can help again and again. To much for me, but if you do need a lot of help it is probably perfect. They also have some very nice, high quality kitchen supplies, that are actually worth the money I think.

Very loud buzzer/bell going off in the back of the store. No real interest from the sales associates in ringing up my book. They were focused exclusively on making the “big sale” to other customers. What I thought was particularly rude was that, while I was waiting in line, the sales lady walked up with a customer with a large order of glasses (each had to be individually wrapped) and started to ring her up in front of me. I literally had one item, 30 seconds of her time. But no, I’m supposed to wait 10 minutes!
