Great family place with a community kitchen and free laundry for guests and residents. Friendly on site maintenance and cleaning crew. Usually half full with monthly guests. Close to shopping. Grocery store, family dollar and carls, lol. Bars and restaurants liquor stores including a micro brewery within one block. Ask for a ride to canon city or take one of the bikes. The staff are super friendly. Pet friendly.

The room we stayed in was small room with large furniture, except for the bed. I was told it was a queen bed but it was not that big.But it was a very comfortable matress. Ther was a large throw rug that was held in place by a very heavy dresser and the rug would bunch up and cause a trip risk.The bath room was good size. The shower took sometime to get warm and presser was a big issue. The lady that ran the place was one of the nicest most car ring mangers I have dealt with.However we were there for 5 weeks. The housekeeper never checked with us. We would have to track her down for sheets and towels. The maintenance guys were nice but always seamed very busy.It was for the most part a good place to stay for the rate we paid.

The rooms are clean and nicely decorated; the beds are firm and comfortable; and the staff treat you like family. Ruthie was especially helpful and friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Liked the experience. Had everything clean. But i noticed that they had a "no dogs sign" and while I was there I realized that a few of the people actually had dogs! I am allurgic to dogs and decided to go to a different motel. Would have definatly extended me stay, but seeing that the motel didn't enforce their own policy was a major set back for me.
