Great little gem. Bathrooms are clean and new, showers were nice. No reservations but not very busy. One playground in the campground and one not too far away at the park. Archery range there too.. Lots of shade. There are a couple river access points and a canoe put in. Quiet campground, loved it!

This is a great campground which I've camped here several times and will more in the future. No mater where you camp at you are about a hundred yards or less away from the river.

Botna Bend is a nice little park with elk and bison. It sits on the Nishnabotna River on the edge of the little town of Hancock about 20 miles from my house. It takes a few minutes to get there but is well worth the trip. Nice campground.

We didn't camp there, but came to visit for a family reunion. The children's playground was pretty small and boring so the kids had to find something else to do. There were two really nice trails to go on though, so that was great. It was also cool to see the elk and buffalo. They were very fun to watch.

There are tent sites. It's a county park and the permit is around $20 for the annual pass, I believe.

Does this campground have showerhouses? And what are prices per night?:

Yes, it does. I don't know if they have more than one. The one is located on the west side past the animal pens and just across the road from the river and near the curve in that road; but not in the back part.

What time is the trick or treating Saturday at the park

How long should it take to clean up the campground after the river goes down. Ready to start camping.
