15 mins and finished with a nicely sharpened knife. Had my warranty pamphlet ready to show them but they didn’t ask to see it or Even proof of purchase which was a relief since have no idea were I put it

At just over one year of ownership, I broke the tip off my Link 1776, requiring me to look into having the blade replaced, possibly under warranty. Sadly, I've run into several issues with doing so. 1) The cost for a blade replacement has gone from $10 to twenty-five. 2) It doesn't sound like Kershaw can/will even replace the blade on this knife anymore, since it's recently been discontinued. 3) Why does one have to pay anything but return shipping, for something that comes with a lifetime replacement warranty? This is the exact reason I refuse to pay for extended warranties on anything! I absolutely loved this knife, and have used it every single day since purchasing it in December of 2020. However, I cannot bring myself to give Kershaw any more of my hard-earned money - EVER. I guess I'll just have to either learn to either live with my broken Link or find something else to use as an EDC knife. My $9 Harbor Freight flipper (57584) is starting to grow on me! Shame on you, Kershaw!

I sent in one of my knifes to be repaired because the blade was broken. When i spoke with them over the phone they said that they would replace the blade and send it back. It took 3 months to get the knife back, when i opened the package i could notice the knife looks completely different (shorter and stocky )so i took my other knife exactly the same one ( i have 3 the same ones ) and compared them to each other. The knife they just send me was 0.5inch shorter! Instead of replacing the blade like they originally said they just took of 0.5inch of the knife making it totally different design! When i called the customer service they said that no one told them to replace the blade and also that i did not pay 30usd fee which i didn't know i have to pay coz no one informed me about it. and i wouldn't have any problem with paying it. Its common sense when u send it a broken blade you should replace it. I am extremely disappointed in this company and their customer service. Instead of fixing my knife they totally destroyed it!

What an amazing Christmas gift! I finally got the knife set I've been hoping for. Sharp as a razor, beautiful, and very light with a balanced grip. It is awesome that I can drop them off for expert sharpening service, too! I can't wait to fill my knife block.

Are you asking about the warranty department?
Yes they do.
Kershaw is a horrible company. Won't stand behind their products. Drove 25 miles out of my way to get two knives warranted website said they where open. But I thought better call to be sure. Answer machine said they where open so I went and the door was locked but a receptionist was sitting right there ignoring me. So I knocked on the door she came opened the door I explained what I was there for. She said they where closed due to Oregon laws on covid. This was june 17 2021 I said that was not true that all the other businesses where open. She said they hadn't heard any new orders from the state. so I asked why the website and the phone both said they we're open she said that was unfortunate. What the hell after16 months they couldn't change the website or phone. So I asked if I could leave them for warranty and they could send them to me. She told me they were not accepting any drop offs. So I left very disappointed in Kershaw. So my suggestion would be throw Kershaw in the trash.
Warranty dept should be able to help
Just give them a call and let them know the situation and they should replace for free I believe. But I wouldn't be able to send it to you.
They sharpen Kai and Kershaw knives for no charge!
