The temperature was on the warm side due to insufficient AC but it was 100 degrees outside. And of course those large windows, that such a great view, didn't help any. The food is good and well presented and hot. This restaurant is once again under new management striving to provide excellent service. With the supply chain issues everyone is having they're having issues as well, which accounts for menus items being out. The overall dining experience was pleasant with good and friendly service. We will return for certain!

If you are visiting like we were I recommend you avoid this place. Yes, the location is great but the food, service, and amenities are severely lacking. Our server kept coughing, wiping her nose and reeked of cigarettes. The menus had items on them that had been crossed off with sharpie and I ordered a salad and for an extra $6 only got 4 pcs of shrimp. The fish and chips were over cooked and my husband’s cod was a quarter of a filet. Oh, and to top it all off I wanted a cocktail and was informed that the established had their liquor license temporarily suspended. Just a subpar experience all around.

All you can eat fish and fries on Friday was great. We were driving through the area, and we got hungry. We are so glad we stop at this restaurant. The servers are very friendly. Will definitely visit this restaurant again.

This was my 1st visit in years and it is now under new ownership. The view is absolutely beautiful with windows facing the river as I suppose the reason for the namesake. I must say the quality has really upgraded and you won't go away hungry! I would have given it a 5 star except one of the things that irk me is being comfortable. Do bring a sweater or light jacket if you are not able to get a seat near the gas fireplaces. The decor could also need some updating and warm/inviting touches but I'm sure that will come in time so there's room for improvement there yet. We both had the breakfast special which consisted of stuffed french toast covered in huckleberry sauce, hashbrowns/country potatoes, bacon, and eggs. The french toast was to die for so don't miss getting this when it's available as it's not on the regular menu. You get 5 strips of bacon too! Everything was cooked perfectly. We typically like things a little more crispy overall but was still not disappointed in the consistent way it was cooked despite. There is also a louge/bar attached on the other side of the restaurant so you can make it a one stop date night! If you've never been before give it a try, if it's been a while...revisit.
