We moved 5 years ago from Texas and a large Methodist Church to Medford with only one Methodist Church in town. We immediately felt at home! This is a smaller church but it's growing every Sunday. Church of the Rogue /First Methodist Church is very active in outreach in the community. We make plastic mats for the homeless, food pantry every Wednesday, monthly free community lunch, active United methodist women and men's group, 2 huge rummage sales a year, studies. We have a coffee break during our Sunday service where we do mission activities. And the preaching!!!!! Wow! There are very active children/youth /high school groups. And our music ranges from the secular to Rock to original compositions. This is a progressive very open church where everyone, no matter their lifestyle or economic situation is truly welcome with open arms.
