WOW. This library is amazing to say the least. Well organized, well sorted, and stocked with an insane number of titles. There are entire rooms dedicated to some subjects, lots of quiet rooms for study or writing, a very nice and pleasing layout, and a very pleasant staff to chat with. This is by far the nicest library I have ever been to, and look forward to many visits in the future.

💡📚Beautiful little library, clean, pretty, new, (albeit a little tense), easy mellow feel and bonus bookstore just outside was even better!! 📚

There are computers available at The Coeur d'Alene Public Library, a subsidy of the United States Government, available for use up in request, appointment, or based availability. The use of a computer, desktop, is not guaranteed because they may be used by other patrons, and there are only so many. Sit I days availability is based upon request. You can enter one for free, but you do need to sign in. With photo identification you can apply for a library card which means you are a patron of the libraray, a guest. You cannot stay after hours or after closing of the library to use a computer. You can access computer use on a desktop pen s by the Government with a guest library card or a personal library card after accepting terms of use and agreeing to them. You can use a computer for a limited amount of time at the Public Library of you agree to the terms and conditions of use.
We do have cards! You can stop by or register for a card online, but you will need to come to the library to show your ID and pick up your card. What number did you call? I am unaware that our number has not worked. Our number is 208-769-2315.
Download the app called Libby, find the Cooperative Information Network (the network that CDA, Hayden, etc belong to) login with your library card and password (which is your last name in all CAPS) find a book and download it.
That's a great question! I would imagine it's 16yrs of age but I could be wrong. Go down and talk with the librarian's!
Hi Richard, the Library was able to book a shred truck for April 9th, 10-1pm. There will be a shred limit of two letter/legal size boxes of documents. Thank you for your inquiry and have a great day.
In my opinion, the Wi-Fi is pretty good. I've never had an issue with streaming on it. However, like any Wi-Fi, it is only as good as the number of people on it. It will have it's limitations if there are a lot of people on it, but in general, it holds up pretty well.
Hi Wendy. There is no longer a Lake City Library branch located inside the Lake City High School. We are very sorry for its loss but we were unable to be in the school and be open to the public. Have a great day!
Hi Vic, face masks are not required but are recommended. Thank you for your inquiry.
Sorry for the delay. There are computers at the FedEx stores, but you have to pay to use them. I don't know of any locations, other than libraries, that offer free access to computers.
Here is a direct link to our catalog with the search for those items: https://cin.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=hunger+games+mockingjay&branch_group_limit= Let us know if you have any other questions.
Yes! You can look at your account, place holds, and update your information at https://catalog.cin.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl.
Hopefully very soon. I'm sure it will be in the newspaper as soon as it is displayed.
Sorry, no. We phased 3.5 in drives out years ago. Maybe check with FedEx Office.
Absolutely! The Coeur d'Alene Public Library is part of the Cooperative Information Network, which has a large OverDrive eBook and eAudiobook collection online. For more information, go to www.cdalibrary.org/overdrive.
Unfortunately we do not have this type of equipment at the library. I would suggest checking with local photo shops and photo services to see if they offer this conversion. Good luck!
