What a disappointment. Been taking my cars to this Firestone for nearly 20 years. Most recently, they quoted me over $3k to replace the rack and pinon because they "couldn't get the screws off" to perform an alignment. Something felt off to me, so I went to a different shop for another opinion. Thank goodness, because for just over $100 the other shop was able to do the alignment without any trouble. I won't be going to Firestone ever again.

I entered the store around 5:45p.m. to have a valve stem replaced on a tire that was already off of the vehicle. Person behind the counter said can't do it tonight, we closed 43 min ago. Website states open until 7p.m., not 5p.m. This would have taken 10 min at the most to complete. There's 10 more tire shops within 2 miles of this one and any one of them will be better at customer service than this one.

I don't remember who helped me. But he knew I was on a budget. He did talk me out of the tires I originally wanted at the beginning of winter, but only for better tires that were ultimately another $20. He explained it would be safer and he is only recommending it because of the safety aspect, but I didn't have to do it. He was friendly and not super persuasive, but still the fact that he was so honest made a difference and 4 months later. I am greatful to him and the fact that he shared his opinion. And they got it done same day, while it was busy.

It’s really unfortunate that I have to share this, because we had been long customers here and had a high opinion of this place before this incident. Last Saturday, we stopped by the Firestone location on 104th and Federal to have the air pressure in my tires checked. There were no parking spots available, so my dad suggested I temporarily park in one of the bays while he quickly ran inside to get help. Not even 2 seconds later after my dad gets out of the passenger seat of my car, a man comes out of service area aggressively screaming at my father (who mind you, is in his 70’s) that he needs to move his car and he can’t park there. While I understand that’s not a place to park, the manner and delivery in which this man yelled at my father was unacceptable. With such rage and aggression. I’m not sure if this man has anger issues, but I would suspect so based on how he lashed out on my elderly father. I went in to complain about this man and attempt to talk to him myself (and I’ll admit, I was extremely irate after this happened,) but the girl at the front desk wouldn’t get him for me. Instead she apologized on his behalf, she took down my information and informed me the manager of this location (who wasn’t in at the time) would contact me to discuss things. It’s now been a week, and no one has contacted me. We have given several years of our business to this location, but based on this awful customer experience over 2 seconds of parking somewhere we weren’t supposed to and no one contacting me to follow up, this has put an awful taste in my mouth. I will give my business to somewhere that is more professional and treats their customers (especially the elderly) with respect.

It comes down to your vehicle, how much oil it takes and what type ie. Standard, semi-synthetic or full synthetic. Best to call them so they can pull your vehicle specs up
