God's Children

May 11, 2022

We have been to this church a couple times and every time the sermon is real and relates to real things in life. They do preach civic engagement and politics from the pulpit and we love that. Politics is morality these days and issues of morality are not to be avoided. Christians have a duty to stand up for what is right and moral and to protect the coming generation and one way we do this is by being engaged civically and in local, state and national politics. The reason culture is the way it is is because churches have not taken a stand in the area of politics, and education. This church is leading the way for what all other churches should do! Good job Candlelight!

EPIC SKIP

Apr 20, 2022

hello! My name is skipper Todd. So I came here with my cousin to go to the skating rink, not the church. And they were doing a Safari Bible School / summer program with the kids In the parking lot. We were walking up to the skating rink to see if they were open and if not, then what hours they have. The security/ “dads” (not sure) at the kids camp came right up to us before we even had a chance to get to the door of the skate rink, which was also way before getting to the children incidentally, if that was our goal, it would have been thwarted. I respect and commend the kids camp leaders and security for doing an amazing job! They did exactly what they were supposed to be doing and I would want my kids to go there as well, knowing that they would be very protected by a good community.

In a world in which we have completely lost our values, this church really does an excellent job at reminding us of what the Bible says and what we need to do to get back on the right path. I don't understand the negative reviews here. Yes, this church talks about politics more than other churches, but it is necessary these days given that our core values are constantly under attack by the government. God does give you the right to disobey your government if the government makes you do something that goes against Him. We do love everyone, as we are all made equal under His image, but that doesn't mean we can steer away from the Bible and skip the lines that inconvenience us. Keep up the good work pastor Paul! We need more lions, not sheep.

Awesome church! They very much love and look out for their community. Pastor Paul is an awesome speaker and shephard who does a wonderful job at teaching God's Word in depth so that everyone can understand.

What is a Unitarian church?

Lori Hopkins | Aug 21, 2019

Unitarians believe in the moral authority but not necessarily the divinity of Jesus. Their theology is thus opposed to the trinitarian theology of other Christian denominations. ... Both forms maintain that God is one being and one "person" and that Jesus is the (or a) Son of God, but generally not God himself.
