9/2/2017 - My husband and I stumbled on this "Gem" while on a 3 week road trip from AL throughout the West! What an awesome experience! We enjoyed our steaks and wine at dinner, they were wonderful! We stayed the night and what a surprise! We had a room with two double iron beds and just down the hall from the shared bath. There are about 18 (?) rooms upstairs where all share the bath, well there was no worries as there were only a couple of older sisters staying the night besides the two of us, so no wait. It was definitely a step back in time, when things were simpler, perfectly clean and comfortable! If you're looking for an experience for you and the kids as to how things "used to be", then please come here! The food was very good, and the hospitality could not be beat! We are traveling back for round two this summer and can't wait!!

Best atmosphere in Montana. The hospitality is amazing. Big shout out to Cheryl, best pie maker in the Big Sky State, not to mention best host. Beds are comfy and the fire is warm. The views are breath taking. Makes you want to stay forever. Super Rustic and wonderful. Like you stepped back in time. ❤

Absolutely wonderful place and the host/owner is amazing. Very accommodating and helpful at late hours. Extremely reasonable prices and a great breakfast too. Skip Harlowton and drive here instead.

This little old hotel & cafe is very nice. The food is simple and delicious. The fresh-from-the-oven rhubarb pie was great. Our timing was perfect.
